Masoretes
Jewish scribes from 600 - 1000 A.D. who standardize the Hebrew text. They added vowels and other markings.
Mechanical Dictation
process used to describe the creation of the biblical text in which the writer served only as a stenographer, much like a typewriter. See Translation
Melchizedek
King of Salem and Priest of the Most High God who blessed Abram Genesis 14:17-24). In the New Testament Melchizedek is use as a type of Christ.
See Hebrews 7 where Melchizedek's priesthood is compared and contnrasted to Aaron and the levetical priesthood. Characterized as having no record of father or mother, birth or death and like Christ remains a priest forever. Some have said that this was a theophany of Christ.
Mesopotamia

Related to timing of natural occurring events
Bottom line is the God was at work. Some have attempted to explain at natural phenomena and other have attempted to remove any natural phenomomen and narrowly define a miracle as an event that "breaks" natural laws.

Monothestic
Belief in one God. Opposed to polytheism or pantheism
Christians typlically are monthestic. For most christian groups Father, Son, Holy Spirit = One God.
Strongly Monothestic: describes groups which do not accept Son and/or Holy Spirit, only God. Example: Judism, Islam
