Welcome to Old Testament 3WE class. I look forward
Each week there will be new messages on the Message Board.
You should read the message board regularly.
You must register with Bee County College to take this
class for college credit.
Dive right in to the WEB. If you are new to the WWW, you may find yourself overwhelmed. It is a little like putting your big toe in the Pacific ocean.
At first, you may not understand much and even seriously
consider quitting. HOWEVER, if you put you toe in the Pacific Ocean, you ARE STILL In the
Pacific Ocean. Keep exploring. Keep trying new tools.
The Internet is filled with very good, good, bad, and very bad. I am not able to censor and/or monitor sites that are outside of the Old Testament Class which is on the Connecti.com Server. I have provide links to external sites. I will not intentionally send you to a objectionable site. But, it is possible.
You will have to determine which information is valid and which is not valid. Just because it is written in a book or magazine and/or published on the Internet does not make information valid, correct, or valuable.
I do not agree with the conclusions and/or interpretation of every link or site in the Old Testament Survey. Education, from my perspective, it not force feeding you my conclusions. Rather, education is providing you with information, sharing my interpretations and conclusions, and then giving you the opportunity to draw your own conclusions.
This may take time. You do not need to rush into a conclusion. Reserve judgment until you have had the opportunity to analyze, scrutinize, and finalize.
Please send me links which will assist other students. Submit URL and a brief description.
DO NOT become bigoted about which type of software you are
using. (This is difficult, I know.) The best way to explore the world is to use 1) what
you have purchased (NOTE: I did not say borrowed), 2) use what ever works. The whole
software world changes so quickly! What is 1st today may be 2nd
later today and so on
This week become familiar with the WWW.
..Experiment, Try, Fail, Find busy signals, Learn to use book marks, Practice emailing, Configure your browser...
SPECIAL notice: The class has been redesigned to be 15 weeks instead of 16 weeks. If have filed to "correct" any 16 to 15 or a lesson needs to be updated, Please contact me.
