PANORAMIC VIEW:
The Tabernacle was a portable worship center which YHWH instructed Moses and the Hebrew people to construct which at Mount Sinai in the wilderness.
The Tabernacle was the first of four tents. Everything else was "made for the tabernacle."
Moving toward the worship from the east you would see:
YHWH gave very specific instructions to Moses about the design of this structure. A pillar of fire and cloud covered was over the tabernacle.
The Tabernacle was replaced by the Temple which Solomon build.
Temple replaced the Tabernacle.
