Greek Bible

CHAPTER AND VERSES

• In 1534 Miles Coverdale added chapter summaries to the English Bible. [Geisler & Nix, 407]
• In the 1500's chapters were divided into verses in the Geneva Bible. [Geisler & Nix, 410]
• Geneva Bible also introduced italicized words. [Geisler & Nix, 410]
