CHALK DUST <\/strong>
\n\tRay Waugh, Jr.<\/em><\/p>\n

Did you ever snap a football
\n\t    that had chalk from the yard stripe on it?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Well, I remember one Friday under the lights
\n\t    long ago, when this happened to me.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I don't think that the “chalk dust” which made the yard line
\n\t     interrupted play,
\n\t     nor did it cause us to lose the game.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Our past is like just so much "chalk dust."<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Much of our past is like so much extra baggage.
\n\t    It does not add much weight to the present,
\n\t   adds a little contrast of colors helping us.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

There is too much now and for sure too much tomorrow
\n\t     to dwell long on the gone past . . .<\/p>\n

but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,  I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus . Philippians 3:13-14<\/em><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
