Brownwood, Texas<\/em><br \/>\n\t<font face=\"Arial\"><sup>&copy;<\/sup><\/font><font face=\"Arial\">Ray Waugh, Jr.<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><font face=\"Arial\">Solomon had all the stones for the Temple hewn before they arrived at the assembly site. The Scripture says,<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><font face=\"Arial\">There was neither hammer nor ax nor any tool of iron heard in the house, while it was in building. 1 Kings 6:7<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><font face=\"Arial\">How different we are!<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><font face=\"Arial\">The Lord wants us to keep our eyes, minds, and hearts fixed on things in Heaven every moment of everyday and during every circumstance of life.<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><font face=\"Arial\">The Lord wants to hew us moment by moment until one day, by His grace, we will be conformed to the Lord Jesus Christ. The Rock of our Salvation was perfectly hewn to fit the will of the Father.<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><font face=\"Arial\">Therefore, since we have been&nbsp;<br \/>\n\t\tjustified through faith,<br \/>\n\t\tWe have peace with God&nbsp;<br \/>\n\t\tthrough our Lord Jesus Christ,<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><font face=\"Arial\">Through whom we have gained access<br \/>\n\t\tby faith into His grace<br \/>\n\t\tin which we now stand.<br \/>\n\t\tAnd we rejoice in the hope<br \/>\n\t\tof the glory of God.<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><font face=\"Arial\">Not only so, but we also<br \/>\n\t\trejoice in our suffering,&nbsp;<br \/>\n\t\tBecause we know that suffering<br \/>\n\t\tproduces perseverance;<br \/>\n\t\tPerseverance, character;<br \/>\n\t\tAnd character, hope.<br \/>\n\t\tAnd hope does not disappoint us,<br \/>\n\t\tbecause God has poured out&nbsp;<br \/>\n\t\tHis love in our hearts by the Holy Spirit,<br \/>\n\t\twhom He has given us. The walls of St. John&#39;s must have been hewn and fitted at the building site.<\/font><\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<table border=\"0\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><font face=\"Arial\">Even at 4:00 a.m. St. John&#39;s is the same . . .<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><font face=\"Arial\">Looks the same<\/font><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><font face=\"Arial\">Smells the same<\/font><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><font face=\"Arial\">Sounds the same<\/font><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><font face=\"Arial\">Feels the same<\/font><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><font face=\"Arial\">Still stimulates my mind and heart toward the good things in life.<\/font><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<td><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><font face=\"Arial\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"259\" src=\"http:\/\/ministryserver.com\/rwjr\/gy03a.jpg\" width=\"178\" \/><\/font><\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><font face=\"Arial\">Even though it is cold, the Lord is just as close as a thought.<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><font face=\"Arial\">The hanging candle is not burning tonight, sharing its warmth and light.<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><font face=\"Arial\">The Psalmist asks in Psalm 139,<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><font face=\"Arial\">Where can I go to escape the warmth of His Spirit?<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><font face=\"Arial\">How then can his followers expect to do, to say, or to go without the Lord&#39;s presence being brought alive?<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><font face=\"Arial\">I just now wondered,<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><font face=\"Arial\">What time of the night the Lord called Samuel.<br \/>\n\t\tIt would be good if I would say,<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><font face=\"Arial\">&quot;Yes, Lord, here am I,&quot; at all times of day and night.<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><font face=\"Arial\">I need to study His Word. The Holy Spirit is ready to make known the revealed things of Christ, if I am receptive.<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><font face=\"Arial\">The winter cold is causing the roof to pop and crack.<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><font face=\"Arial\">When relationships or people are cold, we hurt. However, we are different than St. John&#39;s &#8212; WE HAVE GOD&#39;S ASSURANCE:<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><font face=\"Arial\">God is our shelter and strength,<br \/>\n\t\talways ready to help in times of trouble.<br \/>\n\t\tSo we will not be afraid, even if<br \/>\n\t\tthe earth is shaken<br \/>\n\t\tand the mountains fall into the ocean depths;<br \/>\n\t\teven if the seas roar and rage,<br \/>\n\t\tand the hills are shaken by the violence . . .<br \/>\n\t\tThe Lord Almighty is with us;<br \/>\n\t\tThe God of Jacob is our refuge. Psalm 46<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-size:12px;\"><font face=\"Arial\">Note: St. John&#39;s was and still may be, a church which always left the doors open. Anyone was able to go in. Sit awhile. Meditate a while. Pray a while. During the winter it was always cold. And during the summer it was always hot.
