10 Minute Rolling Ice Cream

"3/4" cup milk
1 cup whipping cream
1/3 cup sugar
"1/2" Tsp vanilla

You need a 1 pound and 3 three pound (in the olden days it was three pounds).

  • Mix the ingredients in the one pound can.
  • Secure the plastic lid on can.
  • Place the 1 pound can inside the larger coffee can.
  • Add ice and salt (most of the time more is better)
  • Put the plastic lid on the large can (secure the lid with tape if you like)
  • Roll the can back and forth on a solid surface for about 10 minutes.
  • Sometimes there are spills but just try again.
